Scene I:
Ah, what trouble times there have been as of late. My dearest Lady sleep walks and speaks of our murderous deeds. Hopefully not too much damage has been done, or my hands be stained with blood once again. Her heart and mind cannot bear the thought of what hath been done in the past. I was the weak one at the start but now i remain strong.. at least i hope that be the case. I hope she becomes well soon or i must continue this journey alone. She is the one who started all of this! My mind races with too many thoughts! i must sleep.
Scene II:
The armies of Edward, Malcolm, Siward, and "good" Macduff assemble! Naught but vengeance fuels their hearts! Let them come i say! If they plan to take my castle by force then so be it. Lay seige to Dunsinane, we will outlast it. We shall fortify the defenses. I fear naught for the witches' predictions have never proved to be ill. I shall remain king until Birnam wood appears at my castle walls, and a "man" not born of woman slay me. I say let them come.
Scene III:
I need not any more reports! I fear naught until the wood of Birnam brushes against the castle walls. Ten thousand soldiers my servant says, but it matters not. And what of Malcolm? Were he not born from the womb of a woman? The spirits hath told me not to fear, for none born of woman shall harm me. So i shall not! I will remain with all of my composure and i will not shake with fear. I will fight until they hack the very flesh from my bones! They will need to pierce my armor first. Alas, despite the tidings of war, Lady Macbeth is not well and becoming worse. Her mind is diseased beyond any of the doctor's medicine. I say, throw medicine to the dogs! Nothing seems to fix this country now!
Scene IV:
The armies of Malcolm, Macduff, and the others lay not too far beyond the reach of mine eye. I know not why they waste their time planning an attack when all plans will fail. The walls of Dunsinane will not fall. A man not born of women is the only foretold death of me! Each hour that passes i grow more anxious to remove them from my land. Alas! The time will come.
Scene V:
They are here! And i say, let them come! Nothing will crumble the walls of great Dunsinane! I say let them stand out there as i laugh at their feeble attempts. It is a shame that so many of my "loyal" kinsmen have joined them or I would have enjoyed beating them back to England outside in front of the gates! But i say let them die of starvation and disease. The queen Lady Macbeth is dead as well. But alas, the time would have come anyway. Life is but an illusion as i have come to see. Devoid of any meaning and full of fools who grow closer to death each day. This day cannot be worse! My servant tells me that Birnam wood approaches my gates! What lies hath those devil hags fed me?! My confidence is failing. But i say! I have become tired of living such a fruitless life! Let ruin and chaos come! At least I will die a valiant death with my armor on!
Scene VI:
The army hath arrived! Let them come i say one last time! I Macbeth, king of Scotland shall not perish from this earth without a fight that will be remembered! Let them bang their drums and blow their trumpets! The only news of blood and death will be of them!
Scene VII:
My men hath deserted me! They are here and I have no choice but to stand and fight. But fight I will, like a mighty bear I will tear them to pieces! Bring me the man who is not of this world, not born of a woman, for he is the only man of the entire host that I fear! I have shown young Siward that no man of women can touch me. I fear no sword. I will not play the Roman fool. I want to see the man not born of women.
Scene VIII:
Finally! Macduff shows his face to me, pathetic traitor. I shall make short work of him. Alas! But can what he says be true? Ripped untimely from his mother's womb!? Not born but ripped! Those rotten hags have betrayed my courage. They have raised my hopes with their deceptive word games and shattered them to pieces! Birnam wood hath come to my doorstep and I battle a man not born of women. None the less the final hour hath arrived! I will fight to the death before I kiss the ground in front of these traitors! I will fight to the end!
